I have been the construction industry for 30 years and this was one of the most pleasant and professional experiences I have had.  Jayson supervised the job and was on site by 7:30 each morning for 3 weeks.  We requested a few small changes and they were executed without any additional charges. I have recommended Lee and Jayson to several of my neighbors and know with confidence that my trust is well placed.

Where do I begin? These guys are rock stars! The whole process. Lee, Jason and their team: knowledgeable, professional, personable, skillful and just downright great people to do business with….Also responsive! Always just a text or phone call away with a response time of: within the hour to the end of business day. We live in Toscana Isles in Nokomis and the property is coming up on its 10 year mark of initial development. It’s time to upgrade. When I tell you Lee/ Jason picked up at least 5 consults for future jobs based on their efforts and technique/ skill observed while working on our home. We unfortunately inherited a structural problem (from the initial contractor), with our driveway that left us with flooding/ mold up against or garage and home line… Lee came in on his initial consult and was transparent, honest and straight up stood behind his name, word, and work.  He physically showed us where the defect was (root cause of our flooding) and the correction that was necessary. The price to level, widen and make our driveway  brand new was very reasonable compared to all the other paver companies. Lee said doing patch work and mixing/matching pavers was just putting a band aid on our flood issue and not re-leveling the driveway, was not something he could put his stamp on… In addition, this type of job will cause further problems and later down the road, have to be just done correctly. Honest guys, honest company solid character and amazing skill. Then enter Jason and his team. The professional machinery/ equipment they brought, the attention to detail, work ethic/ pride and their skillful hands to bring our vision to life. I received an education watching these guys work and perform a job like this done correctly! They patiently spent a whole work day making sure the foundation of the driveway was perfectly level and our flood problems would be nonexistent, before even thinking about laying down one paver. When I tell you the finished project down to the concrete support edging (I had never seen done before) was just unbelievable quality, soup to nuts. No need to shop around. These guys will exceed your expectations and vision. And please make sure you get the name correct because “preferred” is in 3 or 4 other similar Sarasota companies. Preferred Pavers and CONCRETE* ***Thank you Lee and Jason. We, hands down have the nicest driveway in a community of a 1,000 homes. I hope every single one of the multiple residents that stopped by (during the project) to admire your work and also asked for your contact information, hires you guys. I recently hired Preferred Pavers and Concrete to build a fire pit, and they did an absolutely beautiful job. Having dealt with various contractors in the past, I am used to dealing with hidden surprises and extra charges, but my experience with this company was incredibly refreshing. The communication was outstanding from day one, and the pricing was completely transparent. Lee was in charge of my project and was fantastic to work with. The entire crew was clean, courteous, and extremely responsive to my requests. I even made a few same-day changes, and Lee and his team happily adjusted the plan without a second thought or any pushback. It's rare to find a crew that actually delivers exactly what they promise, but Lee and his guys absolutely nailed it. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

The crew was diligent, polite and addressed any concerns I had during the project. The end result was a work of art, the pavers are beautiful! Many neighbors came by with compliments.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lee Lechner responded to my request for a quote on replacing the old, cracked concrete of our driveway and walkway with pavers.  He came at the time we set, surveyed the situation carefully and asked me for details of what we wanted.  I gathered three cost estimates that all came to within a couple perCent of each other so I chose Preferred based on Lee’s more professional and competent approach. The crew of three appeared with the heavy equipment and dumpster needed for tearing up the existing concrete.  Jason, who operated the Bobcat with a delicate touch, tore up the driveway without damaging the irrigation pipes that ran underneath.   Jason, along with Valdiaze and Martin finished removing the driveway and then, by hand, took care of the walkway.  They then proceeded to prepare the area and place each of the ≈ 1100 sq ft of pavers by hand,  cutting many of them to carefully match the curves of the walkway and the borders of the driveway.	The three of them were not only extremely competent and friendly  but took time to answer all our questions and suggest ideas on how even minor considerations could make the drive-and-walkway renovation appear the best. Lee monitored the entire job and when we were not satisfied with the sealer applied to the pavers at the end, he found a different sealer that gave us the appearance we wanted.  We were *extremely* pleased with the entire process from start to finish.
